Your amazing photos help me see the world at 80 yrs.. of age I don't get out like I use to but the kite photos made my day, my son Blake Ridgway and I follow you every day. As a grad student at UCSB in the 60's I took my first go outside of what I was working on, physiology and got into a class where searched the Santa Barbara coast and came upon, from a distance, a new bird in my brain, Elanus eucaris which I found nesting in a big oak and following til the young left the nest, amazing. Many yrs. back I worked a little at the lab assisting at your lab, then through the yrs. brought students from my biology classes at Cloverdale H.S. work with field trip groups, loved it but too much of a drive so finally gave it up. My oldest son found your great work on the internet and I start my day with you, keep it up. Jerry Huot

Not too long ago we had some students from Cloverdale and Healdsburg visit the lab. Lots of fun to introduce them to some marine life.
