Willets and godwits

 

Willets (Tringa semipalmatus) and Marbled Godwits (Limosa fedoa) roosting along the shore of Bodega Harbor on 12 July 2012.  The godwits are slightly larger, with longer upturned bills (with pink bases), and buffy coloration.
