Prettiest duck on the water, no doubt about it! Isn’t there a movie w/ both Peter Fonda and his father called: On Golden Pond? I often think of it when I see Goldeneyes❤️ ... lovely shot!
Yes, I have to admit, I'm partial to goldeneyes. They're so striking! This one actually started a courtship display, which is also dramatic in this species. Maybe I'll try to post a photo (or video?) of that sometime this winter! :) Jackie
