I remember when Gerstle Cove was called Moonrocks Beach - a fitting name even though they're probably not anything rocks on the moon. Back in the old days, this place was so deserted that it *felt* like you were on the moon.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that older, alternative name for Gerstle Cove. I can see what it refers to -- it does feel otherworldly up there. A different landscape for sure!
