A creature that always gives me pleasure. Thank you... They can attract ticks...and ears are sometimes the victim of these parasites. So happy to see the back lit ear free of this annoyance. Does this hare have a second ear?
This portrait is fill with detailed wonder- how rare to see the whiskers, the white of the eye circle, the great ears all lit up in frozen time. Thank you, Jackie.
Re: the second ear -- yes, there is a right ear, it's hidden behind the left ear in this view. You might be able to tell that the right ear is torn -- can you see the jagged edge of the silhouette, visible through the left ear?
Re: the lighting. I also appreciated being able to see the whiskers!
Re: the location. (Nice to hear from a PMS grad!) This photo was taken in Marin County -- actually not too far from the location of the Pacific Marine Station, so appropriate that you commented on this photo!
