In the shape of a heart

  

These nudibranchs are white
with some orange, too
They're sending a Valentine's wish
directly to you!

I'm not sure I can recommend a way to find Limacia. I think of them fairly low in the intertidal zone and in surfgrass areas. They eat a particular species of orange-brown bryozoan -- see more here:

(And you can also see the bryozoan in my photo -- the whitish areas in the upper left corner of the image are likely places where the nudibranch fed on the bryozoan.)

I'll try to take note about where we encounter them and if I think of any hints, I'll pass them along.
