Wow, 8.5 inches of rain in Bodega Bay during the past 10 days, and the rain just keeps coming.

Great photos! What must these creatures be thinking of all this rain with little to no respite? The osprey is looking pretty bedraggled.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've wondered the same thing. Although the Osprey was looking pretty wet, I also marveled that it had caught a large surfperch in very stormy conditions!
ReplyDeleteAnd the phalaropes seem almost made to deal storms. Although small, they seem to go about their business no matter the conditions, floating like little corks and twirling around in the waves and the rain.
