I was surprised to see this Coyote sprawled out on the sand today. A late morning nap?
It awoke briefly and raised its head to look around. This next view made me appreciate the size of its ears (and made me think of Yoda!).
The Coyote looked right and left, and then went back to sleep. (All of these pictures were taken from far away with a zoom lens and then cropped to show closer views.)
"Sleepy I am."
