Can I guess again? Scallop?

Hi, John!

Both excellent guesses. I especially liked your first guess, as I can see right away why you thought that -- some chitons have a very "hairy" or "fuzzy" appearance. When you look very closely (or once you know what you're looking at!), I think you'll be able to recognize those structures as spines, rather than hairs (or tentacles). The answer is revealed in the next post (on February 3rd)!
