Pearly white

Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea)

A native perennial photographed near Campbell Cove on 8 September 2012.  The yellow flowers are surrounded by bright white bracts.  The stem and undersides of the leaves are tomentose (covered with short, densely matted woolly hairs).
