Wave action and allopreening

 Continued large swell on Friday morning (14-16 feet).

Ravens practice allopreening (preening each other).  Below is a possible male-female pair, with the male being slightly larger than the female.  Raven pairs begin to defend breeding territories in late winter -- earlier than most other songbirds.

The large swell with a cormorant fly-over has a bit of rainbow color from the sun. WOW!
