Sunset and spindrift
The setting sun lit up the spray coming off the backsides of the waves tonight. That's about a 9-9.5 foot swell, with an east wind blowing around 6-8 mph (5-7 knots).
Thanks, Sherry! Yesterday (when I took this picture) was a long day of chores. I was feeling tired and worn out, but part of me was also hoping for a little time outdoors before it got dark. I'm so glad I went for a short walk, because the lighting was beautiful and the ocean was rejuvenating. I'm so thankful for each moment like this.
