Goddess of the wilderness
Moonglow Anemone (Anthopleura artemisia), 2 February 2018
Thanks, Jeanne! Anthopleura artemisia is one of my favorite sea anemones. Each one is different, and this one was particularly striking. The deep rose color, the white bands on the tentacles, and the striped and checkered pattern on the oral disc made for quite a combination.
