Rainbow sculpin?

An amazing sculpin resting on a pale purple sponge.  Photographed in the low intertidal zone on 17 June 2022.

Thank you!

Such a striking little fish...and it was quite difficult to photograph. It was resting on a vertical surface in a pool under a large boulder, so I was sort of wedged underneath and reaching in. I had to hold the camera off to the side (under water) to get that lateral view, so I couldn't really see what I was photographing. Most of the other photos didn't make the cut, but I'm glad that at least one turned out well enough to share.

Jackie, your description of the contortions you had to go through to get this image make it even more wonderful to see. Thank you so much!!
