I saw several of these tracks on the upper beach in Truro, MA, on 28 September 2022.
A wonderful snake track!
Although I looked, I didn't find the snake itself.
Beautiful! It looks like leaves! How long is each 'leaf'?
Hmmm...I'm not totally sure! I didn't measure at the time, and the photos were taken in passing while we were focused on a different subject, but I'm guessing each "leaf" is around 3 inches long.:) Jackie
