Low to the ground
I've been doing lots of desk work lately, but here's a quick shot of a fly-by Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) from 11 November 2022.
Jackie, I've been offline for several days and am just now seeing this latest collection of terrific images - the seal, the storm clouds, the Meadowlark, and now this guy. You are doing such a wonderful thing for us, giving us this record of what you see. Thank you!

Thanks! One of those "got lucky" moments...the owl was flying by and I only had a couple of chances (the other photos didn't come out).
