Rockscapes
A few photos of rocks from along the northern Sonoma coast this past weekend. Thanks to Eric for his excellent eye and framing some beautiful patterns!

One more, from Eric, because the fence lizard matched the rock so nicely:
I remember when Gerstle Cove was called Moonrocks Beach - a fitting name even though they're probably not anything rocks on the moon. Back in the old days, this place was so deserted that it *felt* like you were on the moon.
I'm glad to know that older, alternative name for Gerstle Cove. I can see what it refers to -- it does feel otherworldly up there. A different landscape for sure!

Yes, these pictures are from Salt Point -- on a foggy day, which made for interesting lighting!
