Lyin' lions
Mixed group of California Sea Lions (Zalophus californianus) and Steller Sea Lions (Eumetopias jubatus), photographed 14 July 2023.
Yes, at times there was lot of activity and the sea lions were talking to each other quite loudly. In between there were calmer and quieter periods. (I haven't yet recorded sea lion vocalizations, but I should do that!)
