Lighting the way
Waning crescent moon and Venus at dawn on 2 January 2019:
Hi, John! It's possible Jupiter was below the moon. I actually wasn't thinking of it when I took the photo (the moon and Venus were so bright!), but I realized later that Jupiter probably would have been visible, too. Darn...maybe next time!

I'm surprised Jupiter wasn't bright enough to be caught between the moon and Venus.
