Four tri's!

Lottia triangularis

Rissa tridactyla

Tritonia festiva

Trifolium macraei

Well, I realize it might be hard to see the connection among all of these photos, but I needed something to celebrate NHBH blog post #3,333!  In previous years I noted when I crossed the 1,000 and 2,000 marks, so here's a post to observe crossing 3,000 with four tri's!  Whew!  Thanks for staying with me!

(And I hope this is only the first TRImester and that we can look forward to hitting that 10,000 posts milestone someday!) -Chris Griesemer

Jackie,

Your morning posts make my day -- I love remembering, through you, what a wonderful natural world I inhabit. You make me see our birds, our bay, our flora and fauna freshly. Thank you so very much.

Hi, everyone!

Thanks so much for the kind comments and feedback! I'm so glad to know who's out there checking in with our local natural history.

Chris! 10,000 posts is a lot! I don't know if I have it in me, but hey, why not set the bar high? Only 24 more years to go! ;)

When I first started this blog, I don't think I would have projected that I'd still be posting after 12 years. I didn't really think about it then, but of course there are an endless number of observations to share, and all of the landscapes and species around us deserve to be seen.

So, onward we go to see what the future brings! I'm thankful for the opportunities to learn and share and to leave behind a record of this time and place.

With unending gratitude,
Jackie
