Light as a feather
A feather in the coastal prairie. (Perhaps from a Burrowing Owl?) Photographed on 7 November 2023.

Hey Jackie,
Funny but this morning I was reviewing two feathers very close to this from my Beached Bird Survey. I think those sub-terminal dots whittle the list down pretty hard. I ended up with the Loons and likely a Common Loon for mine but it wouldn't be impossible for that to have blown up from the beach.
