Sunset spouts

It looked like a nice sunset was developing at the end of the day, so I went out to watch for a few minutes.  I started to notice some lighter spots out towards the horizon and it took me a minute to realize they were whale spouts being lit up by the lingering light.  So cool!

Hello! So nice to hear from you both!

It's an interesting time of year with the sun setting earlier. During the summer/early fall I often leave work before the sunset, but now the end of the work day is coinciding with the sunset...which means some different lighting and different perspectives.

I hope you're also seeing some nice sunsets in Maine!

:) Jackie
